“Alan said, ‘Right, do the accent.’ So I did my, ‘[she speaks what sounds like gutteral gibberish],’ half Louisiana, half Colombian accent, trying not to be Irish, trying not to be English and just trying to be Louisiana.  And he had a Pug dog that sat on the sofa and the Pug dog began to go, ‘[she makes approving whining noises].’  He said, ‘I don’t know what I think but the dog likes it.’ “
